Overview

TackTracker is a yacht race player and analyser created to help sailors of any ability sail better.   With an optional license it is also a complete navigation rally manager.

TackTracker can play races recorded locally or published to TackTracker's Cloud Server. You can view cloud races from the TackTracker PC or Web browser on any device.

You can record live racing to the TackTracker Cloud with a live tracking device and replay live to any TackTracker player listed above.  Or you can use a GPS logging devices and upload your tracks into TackTracker after the race session.

Download the free TackTracker player for your PC and you can:

• View races online that have been published at TackTracker.com/cloud.  Play them in real time, or tack by tack, leg by leg.  As you do so, the system tells you how far each yacht has sailed, how fast she is going, and how high to the wind on both port and starboard tack.
• Create, edit and publish live races to the TackTracker Cloud to your own TackTracker home page

With a Logged Tracking License, you can also:

• Load tracks directly into TackTracker from a QStarz GPS tracker
• Build your personal race library.

With a Race Reports License you can also:

• Generate leg by leg reports showing scratch and handicap times - and also relative times for each boat.

With a Club Regatta License you can also:

• Create and maintain a competitor schedule for each sailor
• Define and show handicap information.  Calculate relative handicap placings during the race.
• Automatically replay a series of races for display on a big screen at the club
• Publish regattas to the TackTracker cloud
• Use additional tools for tracking live races

With a Navigation Rally License, you can:

• Define and run an on-water navigation rally and automatically score all competitors.

A core design goal for TackTracker is to make the end-end process of recording tracks, loading them, in and making them ready to play, as simple and quick as possible.
