Reports
Note
With the exception of Navigation Rally events, reports access requires a Race Reports or Club Regatta licence.
TackTracker can produce a wide range of reports from each race. You can see the reports available in the Reports tab in the bottom tab set. You must have a race loaded to see a list of reports. Note that Navigation Rally events have a different set of reports to other event types.
To create a report, select the desired report from the list and click Create. A report will be generated in the selected format. Three formats are available:
- HTML (default). The report is formatted as a web page. Reports will appear in your web browser.
- XML. The report is created as an XML file suitable for exchange with third party software. You may need to specify the program you wish to use to view the report. If not sure, you can use
Notepad. - CSV. The report is created as a CSV file, suitable for importing into a spreadsheet.
Race Reports
Scratch Reports
These reports show scratch (actual) placings and times.

| Scratch Leg Placings | Overall scratch place and time for each competitor, plus the place and elapsed time at each leg rounding. |
| Leg Times | Overall scratch place and time for each competitor, plus the incremental times at each leg rounding. |
| Relative Leg Times | Overall scratch place and time for each competitor, plus the additional times sailed for each leg compared with the fastest boat for that leg. |
| Positions Gained and Lost | Overall scratch place, plus the places at 30 seconds followed by the positions gained or lost at each leg rounding thereafter. |
| Leg Times Gained and Lost | Similar to Relative Leg Times, but shows the times gained or lost on each leg compared with the winning boat. |
| Legs Summary | A leg by leg summary of distances travelled, speeds and times. Shows similar information to the Legs Table. |
| Tacks Summary | A tack by tack summary of distances travelled, bearings, speeds and times. Shows similar information to the Tacks Table. |
| Mark Roundings | Counts the number of times each boat rounds each mark of the course. Useful for Variable Laps races. |
Handicap Reports
These reports show both scratch and corrected placings for handicaps. (Handicaps are available with a Club Regatta licence.)

| Handicap Leg Placings | Shows handicap, scratch place and time, corrected place and time plus the corrected place at each leg rounding. |
| Handicap Positions Gained and Lost | Overall scratch and corrected place, plus the corrected places at 30 seconds followed by the corrected positions gained or lost at each leg rounding thereafter. |
| Handicap Leg Times Gained and Lost | Overall scratch and corrected place and times plus corrected times gained or lost on each leg compared with the winning boat on corrected time. |
| Current Placings | Current place, corrected place, legs completed, distance to first and distance to finish. Unlike other reports, this report shows information as at the current point on the timeline. It is intended to provide the same dynamic leader board information as the Select Table. |
Navigation Rally Reports
These reports are available for Navigation Rally events.

| Rally Course No Gates | Rally course showing each turn but omitting the scoring gates. |
| Rally Results | Rally results ordered by score and showing the times and penalty earned at each gate. |
| Rally Results Extra Precision | Show times with millisecond precision to explain rounding behavior. |
| Rally Schedule | Rally schedule with predicated times at each turning point. |
| Rally Schedule Elapsed | Rally schedule with elapsed times at each turning point. |
| Rally Penalties | Shows the discretionary penalties awarded to each boat along with the reason. |
