Sync Mode

Synch Mode - Compare Relative Performance over a Leg

Sometimes it is difficult to compare the performance of boats because they start a leg at different times.  You can simulate all boats starting the same leg at the same time using the Sync button .

To activate Sync mode, move the timeline to a point in the race after leg 1, then click .   The Sync button will turn orange and the TackTracker plot window will be surrounded by an orange border to let you know that the relative boat positions are simulated - not actual. 

Each boat will now be syncrhonized to start the leg at exactly the same time, so you can easily compare each boat's performance for the leg and indeed for the rest of the race.  To switch out of Sync mode click Sync again.
