Regattas

You can create a regatta to group multiple races in a series. Regattas are listed on the regattas page.

To create a regatta, sign in, go to Setup and click the "+ Regatta" button. Complete the form to provide details about your regatta, such as name, description, region, class etc and click the "Create Regatta" button to create.

Your regattas are listed in a table at the top of the manage races page. You can edit the settings for an existing regatta by clicking the regatta name.

Once you have created a regatta, you can add races to it. For new races, select the regatta from the drop down list in the Create new race dialog. For existing races, edit the race by clicking the race name in the race tile and select the regatta.

Your regatta won't be visible to other people unless it has at least one race in it.

Race Sequencing

By default, races are listed in date ascending order - with the most recent race at the bottom. For regattas spanning a large date range, you may prefer to reverse the order and have the most recent race at the top. You can do this by setting the race list order in the Regatta settings.

A third option is to sort manually using the race sequence number. You can set the sequence number in each race's settings.

Regatta Images

You can upload images to help identify and add value to your regatta.

• A 60x40 thumbnail logo which appears in the regatta list. By default the TackTracker logo is displayed, but this can be replaced by your image. You can also set your image as the default for all your regattas.
• A 300x200 sidebar image or photo for the regatta side panel
• A 700x50 sponsor banner image which appears above the web player for all races in your regatta.

To upload images for the regatta, click the logo in the first column of the regatta table on the manage races page. This will open an Upload Pictures dialog for your regatta. Images must be either .jpg or .png format and for best results should be already resized to the required image size.
